Life on the Edge
Life on the Edge is a South Devon National Landscape project working to protect some of the UK’s rarest plants and invertebrates along the South Devon coast. Bringing together communities, landowners, farmers and conservation partners, the project aims to restore habitats, support wildlife and help more people reconnect with the natural world.

The brief
Life on the Edge needed a completely new website with its own distinctive digital presence, while remaining closely aligned with the South Devon National Landscape identity and supplied brand guidelines. The brief was to create something fresh, modern and engaging with a strong outdoor feel - immediately connecting visitors with the South Devon coast, its wildlife and the people protecting it. Strong photography, bold typography, organic shapes and the established colour palette create an accessible, welcoming website that encourages people to explore the project, discover its work and get involved.
