friary mill says…
“Friary Mill started as a single shop and bakery on Gasking Street, Plymouth, in 1988. Opened by Karen Milner and Philip Gardner, Friary Mill quickly developed a strong reputation for its high-quality fresh, handmade products, using the very best West Country ingredients.
As the reputation grew, Friary Mill needed to expand to accommodate the growing demand for fresh, locally made products. As a consequence, Friary relocated our production to a new site in Cattedown, Plymouth in 1998 to meet this demand.
Twenty nine years on, Friary Mill now have opened a total of ten shops and bakeries across Plymouth and Ivybridge. Friary are recognised as the destination for handmade Devon pasties, freshly filled rolls, breakfast baps and hand crafted cakes.”
