A TORQUAY motor home hire company which recently delivered campers to VIPs at Glastonbury is now taking their service to the public - thanks to a new website.
Silverstream American Motor Home Hire was started as a hobby by Sharon and Andrew Stanley, taking American Winnebago RV campers to VIPs and corporate clients.
And this weekend the company has four vehicles at the South Devon Festival - one of which will be used as a dressing room for pop idol Will Young before he takes to the stage on Saturday night. Adrian Edmondson and other artists will also be getting the same VIP treatment.
But it's not only celebrities who are catching on to the service.
Mr Stanley: "Now anyone can experience the luxury and comforts these vehicles bring.
"We have been stunned with the amount of interest the business is now receiving and since luketom.com designed, built and launched our new website the phone hasn't stopped. It's been a revelation."
He said they were so impressed with the new site luketom designed for the festival they immediately chose the company for their new web build.
"Of course these RVs don't come cheap, we are talking about vehicles that would cost in excess of £80,000 in some cases, they have to be treated with care and we take care to only hire vehicles to people who will treat them with the respect they deserve," said Sharon.
"When we hand over the RV, we ensure they are completely, what we describe as 'dressed', this basically means they are cleaned inside and out with fresh linen and even champagne and flowers in some cases."
Luke Hutton from luketom.com said: "Building this site has been great fun for us also, these are very impressive machines, so I personally decided to get hands on and involved with the photography of the vehicles for the new site.
"After building the site for the South Devon Festival scheduled for this Saturday it was great to link up and build this new site for a fellow festival sponsor."
